TRIPS is a simple game requiring almost no concentration and may be enjoyed by both children and adults. For young kids it helps develop mental thought processes in a fun atmosphere. For older players it is a mindless way to socialize around the kitchen table, in a car, or on vacation.
To play TRIPS, players will need to print off scoresheets and use three 8-sided colored dice with the colors shown in the directions. Online stores have blank white dice for sale relatively cheap. They may be painted or drawn on with permanent markers. These dice are the same for TRIPS and StraightEight.
Click the blue button to view or print out the rules. The green button will display a smaller version of the rules that will fit in a smaller box with the scoresheets.
To save paper, print out the image on the right, then insert it into a plastic sheet protector or laminate it. Use wet erase markers for printing. The ink comes right off with a damp paper towel or tissue.
